Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms apply when you order author services from Zeus Publishing, submit a manuscript to one of our journals, or otherwise use zeuspublishing.com. By placing an order or making a submission you accept these terms.

Zeus Publishing is based at İstiklal Cad., İmam Adnan Sok., Çağatay İş Merkezi No:48, Beyoğlu, İstanbul, Türkiye.

2. What we provide

• Open access journals — peer-reviewed publication in IDR, JOMDI and HSM.
• Scholarly books — monographs, edited volumes and proceedings.
• Author services — English editing at four levels, academic translation, publication support, research visuals, formatting and statistical review.

Author services are a language and presentation service. They improve how your research reads; they do not change or generate your findings.

3. Orders and quotes

Prices shown by the on-site calculator are estimates based on the word count and turnaround you enter. A binding quote is issued after we receive and review your actual files — normally within one business hour during our working hours (Mon–Sat, 08:00–20:00 TRT).

An order becomes binding when you approve the final quote. Until then you owe us nothing and may withdraw at any time.

4. Payment

• Prices are quoted and invoiced in US dollars (USD).
• Payment is normally due before delivery; institutional customers may arrange invoicing terms in advance.
• Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is added where Turkish law requires it.
• Our bank account is held in Turkish lira. If you transfer in US dollars your bank converts the amount at its own rate; ask us and we will confirm the lira figure for the day you pay.
• Bank charges for international transfers, and any currency conversion cost, are borne by the sender.

5. Delivery and deadlines

Turnaround is counted from confirmed payment or approved order, whichever is later, and is quoted in working time within our published hours. Every editing order is delivered as two files: a Track Changes version showing each correction and editor comment, and a clean version ready for submission.

If you supply additional or replacement material after work has started, the deadline is recalculated and we will tell you the new delivery time before continuing.

6. Our guarantees

Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.

7. Your responsibilities

By sending us a manuscript you confirm that:

• the work is your own, or you have the right to submit it on behalf of all authors;
• all listed authors have agreed to the submission, and no one who qualifies for authorship has been left out;
• the data and results are genuine and honestly reported;
• the work is not under consideration elsewhere, unless you have told us otherwise;
• you have obtained the ethical approvals and participant consents your research required;
• you have permission to reuse any third-party figures, tables or long quotations.

If any of this turns out to be untrue, we may stop work, cancel publication or issue a retraction, and no refund is due.

8. No guarantee of acceptance

Our editors improve clarity, structure and language, and our reviewers can tell you how a peer reviewer is likely to respond. Acceptance always rests with the editors of the journal you submit to, on the scientific merit of your work. We do not offer, and cannot offer, a guarantee of publication.

9. Editorial independence

Zeus Publishing both publishes journals and sells author services. We keep the two strictly separate:

• Buying any author service gives you no advantage whatsoever in peer review at IDR, JOMDI, HSM or any other journal we publish.
• Our journal editors are not told whether an author has purchased services from us.
• Editorial decisions are made solely on scientific merit, following COPE guidance.
• Equally, declining our services never disadvantages a submission.

10. Intellectual property

Your manuscript stays yours. Sending it to us for editing transfers no rights. We claim no ownership of your text, data or findings, and the edited files are yours to use as you wish.

Published articles. Articles accepted by our journals are published open access under the Creative Commons Attribution licence (CC-BY 4.0). You keep copyright; the licence lets anyone read, share and build on your work with proper attribution.

This website. The site design, text and graphics are ours. Please do not copy them for another publisher's website.

11. Confidentiality

Everything you send us is confidential until you publish it. Files are encrypted in transit, stored outside the public web directory, and seen only by the staff and experts working on your project, all of whom are under confidentiality agreements. We will sign your institution's NDA on request. We never submit client manuscripts to third-party AI systems for training.

12. Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the fee you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as delayed grant applications, lost funding or missed career opportunities.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law. Disputes fall to the Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices. If you are a consumer, this does not affect the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.

These terms describe how we actually work. They are written for clarity rather than as formal legal drafting; for large institutional contracts we are happy to sign your own agreement instead.
